First Look at Don Rickles’ Last-Ever Project, Plus: Jimmy Kimmel’s Tearful Tribute
Check out a sneak peek of legendary comedian Don Rickles' upcoming AARP Studios series “Dinner with Don”!
For the 10-episode series, Rickles sat down for dinner with some of his famous friends, including Sarah Silverman, Amy Poehler, Zach Galifianakis, Paul Rudd and Jimmy Kimmel.
On last night's episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” Kimmel teared up while paying tribute to Rickles, who died on Thursday of kidney failure. During his monologue, Kimmel said, "I know it sounds crazy to say he was too young, but he was. Because he was youthful and funny and sharp and generous. I was fortunate enough to not only have Don on this show as my guest, but also to become close to him and his wife, Barbara, which was a lot of fun for me.”
Along with Kimmel, Seth Meyers also put the focus on Rickles, even sharing his own personal story of the legend. Watch.
“Extra” caught up with Tim Allen at the Laugh Factory in Los Angeles after news broke of Rickles' death. Allen said, "I love making people laugh, but I love laughing even more, and I couldn't get enough of that guy."
