Some non-celebrities are making headlines for their precious moment at the Oscars.
Though the ceremony is known for its stars, some tourists had the biggest nights of their lives without expecting it!
As part of a skit for the show, a group of Hollywood tourists had their tour bus “hijacked” and they were taken to the Dolby Theatre for an Oscar-worthy surprise. At host Jimmy Kimmel's direction, the tourists were led into the auditorium right in front of the assembled stars, getting a chance to interact with front-row talent like Halle Berry, Meryl Streep and Emma Stone.
An engaged couple, Gary Cole and his fiancée Vicki Mines from Chicago, stood out among the group of tourists as they mingled with the stars, even asking Denzel Washington marry them!
Though the pair was supposed to wed in July, they sped things up when Denzel got out of his seat to make it happen. The Oscar nominee — Vicki's favorite actor — joined them and announced, "I now pronounce you man and wife. Kiss the bride.”
Along with meeting Denzel, Gary was seen kissing the hand of some big-name actresses, including Nicole Kidman.
After their once-in-a-lifetime moment on Hollywood's biggest stage, the pair will reportedly make an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!"
