Priyanka Chopra Details Her ‘Quantico’ Set Accident
Last night, “Quantico” star Priyanka Chopra looked stunning as she made her first public appearance since an on-set injury sidelined her last week.
Chopra spoke with “Extra's” Renee Bargh on the red carpet of the 2017 People's Choice Awards, where she explained what happened on set, saying, “I've never gotten hurt when we do stunts.”
She went on, “It was raining, we were rushing, we had to make up time, I was wearing rubber boots, [and] I slipped on the wet road. I guess, I hit my head on the bumper of a car and then the road and they took me to the ER. It was scary. Now, I am laughing, but it was scary. They took CT scans, said it was a concussion.”
“I couldn't sleep,” she added. "I had to have someone wake me up every two hours, which is annoying, 'Are you up? Are you up? I had to take three days off of work, which usually would be fun, but I wasn't allowed to watch TV or read anything. Apparently, you can't focus on something for too long, so I was listening to Amy Schumer all weekend, her new book — I love her!"
Priyanka, who is now back to work, pointed out that she still has to be careful of her neck movements.
Later in the night, Chopra won the award for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress, and revealed what she was going to do to celebrate. She told Renee backstage, “Getting lots of pizza, 'cause I've been on a diet to get in this dress… Or In-N-Out… I deserve Animal Style Fries!"
