Donald Trump Blasts ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ — Arnold Schwarzenegger Fires Back!
On Friday morning, President-elect Donald Trump bashed Arnold Schwarzenegger after lackluster premiere ratings for “The Celebrity Apprentice” were released earlier this week.
Schwarzenegger took over the hosting duties for the show after Trump decided to run for president.
Trump tweeted, "Wow, the ratings are in and Arnold Schwarzenegger got ' wamped' (or destroyed) by comparison to the ratings machine, DJT. So much for being a movie star — and that was season 1 compared to season 14. Now compare him to my season 1.”
Trump even slammed Schwarzenegger's political views during this year's election, saying, "But who cares, he supported Kasich & Hillary."
Arnold responded to Donald, tweeting, “There's nothing more important than the people's work, Donald Trump. I wish you the best of luck and I hope you'll work for ALL of the American people as aggressively as you worked for your ratings.”
The former California governor emphasized, "There's nothing more important than the people's work, @realDonaldTrump.”
Arnold also posted a video of himself reciting a quote from Abraham Lincoln, adding, "Please study this quote from Lincoln's inaugural, @realDonaldTrump. It inspired me every day I was Governor, and I hope it inspires you.”

Though Trump is no longer hosting, he is still a credited executive producer on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” which has caused some controversy regarding a potential conflict of interest for the incoming president.
Arnold recently weighed in on the controversy during a red-carpet interview with "Extra's" Renee Bargh. Watch!
