Christy Carlson Romano Gives Birth to Baby Girl

Christy Carlson Romano has welcomed a baby girl into the world!
The former Disney Channel star gave birth to her first child, Isabella Victoria Rooney, Saturday, December 24 in Los Angeles. Her new daughter measured 21 inches and weighed 7 lbs. and 15 oz.
Christy told People, "Joy doesn't begin to express how we feel this Christmas! Isabella is the greatest thing to ever happen to us and we are truly grateful to all those who have supported us during this special and momentous time.”
Christy and husband Brendan Rooney were married in 2013, and in June 2016 announced the pregnancy. She told People last June, “I am flabbergasted at the serendipity of having a baby on Christmas. It's our favorite holiday! What a gift we'll have this year. Feeling so blessed and grateful… and a little nauseous.”
Over the months, the “Even Stevens” alum shared many baby bump photos on Instagram. She made light of her growing belly, saying, "Me having a full on conversation with my bump about motivating to get dressed for a holiday party. Haha. I'm trying guys."
