Lady Gaga’s Best ‘Carpool Karaoke’ Moments
Lady Gaga joined “The Late Late Show” host James Corden for a spin around town to belt out some tunes for “Carpool Karaoke.”
One of the highlights of the segment came right at the start, when Gaga and Corden had already hit traffic. Gaga shouted, “Move!” which inspired Corden and Gaga to start chanting Ludacris' 2002 club hit “Move B**ch.”
From reenacting the moment she received the call to perform at the SuperBowl halftime show to taking viewers back with some of her classics, Gaga even talked about some of the things going on in her personal life.
One piece of trivia: Gaga just recently passed her driving test! She revealed that her father cried when she passed. “Dad, I'm 30,” she told him. Corden cracked up at the notion that her entire family joined her at the DMV that day.
At one point, Gaga took the wheel when Corden asked her if she would like to drive and got into the passenger seat, placing a helmet on his head.
James asked Gaga about the items of Michael Jackson's wardrobe she reportedly purchased, and Gaga admitted she now owns approximately 400 pieces. Some of the items include “a 'Thriller' jacket, one of his gloves, and lots of his tour costumes,” she said. She even keeps them in a temperature-controlled space.
Gaga explained that she wrote some of her major hits in 10 minutes, including some that they harmonized to from the interior of the black Range Rover SUV. They belted “Perfect Illusion,” “Bad Romance,” “The Edge of Glory,” “Poker Face," “Million Reasons,” and “Born This Way.”
Once the car ride was over, Gaga even joined Corden's show onstage when she crashed his opening monologue and hung out to perform with the band for the rest of the show!
