Under Heavy Security, Kim Kardashian Returns to NYC After Robbery

On Monday, reality star Kim Kardashian was flanked by an army of security in New York, just a day after she was robbed in Paris.

While returning to her apartment, Kardashian was joined by husband Kanye West and mom Kris Jenner, who also left Paris. A source recently told People, “[Kim] has never been in a more frightening situation. She still can't believe it happened. Kris [Jenner] has been good about giving updates to concerned friends. Kim's family feels terrible about what happened to her.”

The insider added, "Kim left Paris to reunite with Kanye and her kids. She is very upset and couldn't wait to leave Paris. She gave a statement to the police and left right after. She got robbed of her jewelry, but doesn't care. She is just happy to be alive."

On Sunday, Kim was fearing for her life after robbers gained access into her apartment and stole $10 million worth of jewelry. DailyMail.com reports that Kim's Paris apartment was also featured on a 2014 episode of her show “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.”

In the wake of her robbery and recent attack by celebrity prankster Vitalii Sediuk, Kim's security team is on high alert. Family friend Gigi Hadid has also reportedly beefed up her security team. The model was seen with four bodyguards in Milan after her scary encounter with Sediuk last week.
