Idina Menzel and her “Rent” co-star Aaron Lohr are engaged!
On Friday, Menzel took to Twitter to announce the news, tweeting, "As if this week couldn't get any better I have wonderful news... my man and I are engaged! We are so happy. It's a beautiful time.”
The following day, Menzel showed off her engagement ring while walking the red carpet at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.

The pair started dating last year and she even took him as her date at the White House Correspondents' Association Dinner in D.C.
The two starred in the 2005 film adaptation of “Rent,” which also featured her ex-husband Taye Diggs, to whom she was married for 10 years. They split in December 2014.
