Calvin Harris’ Explosive Twitter Rant About Taylor Swift
Hitmaker Calvin Harris is ripping ex-girlfriend Taylor Swift after news broke she penned his new hit single “This Is What You Came For.”
On Wednesday, her reps told People, "Taylor Swift wrote 'This Is What You Came For' under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg.” TMZ was the first to report the news that Swift "wrote the song, sat down at a piano and did a demo into her iPhone."
After reading the People article, Harris tweeted, "And she sings on a little bit of it too 🙃 Amazing lyric writer and she smashed it as usual.”
He continued, "I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though. And initially she wanted it kept secret, hence the pseudonym."
Back in April, Calvin shut down rumors he was going to collaborate with Taylor in the future while promoting 'This Is What You Came For.' He told Ryan Seacrest, "You know, we haven't even spoken about it. I can't see it happening, though." His denial is rumored to have hurt Taylor, causing their relationship to fall apart, TMZ reports.
After sharing his 2 cents on the song, Harris went on a Twitter attack towards Taylor, saying, "Hurtful to me at this point that her and her team would go so far out of their way to try and make ME look bad at this stage though.”
He even took a jab at Taylor's new relationship with Tom Hiddleston, commenting, "I figure if you're happy in your new relationship you should focus on that instead of trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do. I know you're off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy [Perry] ETC but I'm not that guy, sorry. I won't allow it.”
The 32-year-old added, "Please focus on the positive aspects of YOUR life because you've earned a great one. God bless everyone have a beautiful day.”
