Disturbing New Revelations from the Suicide Notes Left by Jim Carrey's Ex-Girlfriend
There are disturbing new revelations from the suicide note of Jim Carrey's ex-girlfriend Cathriona White.
Nine months after friends discovered the Irish makeup artist's body in her L.A.-area home, “Extra” has obtained a Los Angeles County Coroner report with new details from inside the investigation.
The 30-year-old left two suicide notes, both addressed to “Jim.” In one, Cathriona is despondent over their apparent breakup, writing, "I'm just not for this world. I've spent 3 days now in disbelief that you're not here. I can go on brokenhearted and try to put the pieces back. I could, I just don't have the will this time. I'm sorry you felt I wasn't there for you. I tried to give you my best part."
In the other she wrote, "I don't really know about burial or that sort of thing. You are my family so whatever you choose will be fine. Please forgive me. I'm just not for this world."
According to the documents, it appears White took some of Carrey's pills for back pain to end her own life.
Authorities discovered her cellphone in her hand with a recent text from Jim asking her if she knew where his prescription pills were, which had been under his sink.
Carrey has not commented on the latest revelations. After her passing, the actor released the following statement, "I am shocked and saddened by the passing of my sweet Cathriona. She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her. We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
