Katy Perry Speaks Out Amidst Orlando Bloom & Selena Gomez Controversy
After rumors started flying about Orlando Bloom and Selena Gomez hooking up, his girlfriend Katy Perry has finally broken her silence.
Perry tweeted, “Is that all there is?” with a clip of Peggy Lee singing the 1960s hit of the same name about facing disappointment.
The song features the lyrics, "And then I fell in love, with the most wonderful boy in the world. We would take long walks by the river. Or just sit for hours gazing into each other's eyes. We were so very much in love. Then one day, he went away and I thought I'd die. But I didn't. And when I didn't, I said to myself, 'Is that all there is to love?'”
Is this a cryptic message about Orlando? Over the weekend, Orlando and Selena made headlines after they were seen getting “touchy-feely” at Mandalay Bay's Light nightclub after her Las Vegas concert. A source told E! News, "Selena was with a group of girlfriends and Orlando was hanging with his guys. Orlando went over when her friends were out on the dance floor and Selena was all alone in her booth.”
Despite the pictures, another source denied there was anything going on between Orlando and Selena, saying, "Nothing happened with Selena and Orlando this past weekend. Orlando is with Katy and they are very happy and in love. Selena is all about her tour now, not really focusing on men."
The Las Vegas sighting was just days after Orlando and Katy attended the Met Gala in NYC, where they seemed very much a couple. An insider said, "They seemed really happy, by each other's side all night. If they weren't next to each other, he seemed to go over and check on her quite a bit."
We'll have to wait and see if Katy and Orlando continue dating after the controversy.
