Maksim Chmerkovskiy & Peta Murgatroyd Open Up on Their Wedding Plans

Dance superstar couple Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy joined “Extra's” Renee Bargh at Universal Studios Hollywood, where they wore coordinated black and white outfits. Maks joked about their matching looks, “This is a process.”

The pair fell in love on the dance floor and are now headed to the altar after getting engaged in December. Though they still don't have a date set, Peta revealed that the wedding could happen sometime next year. She told Renee, “This year has been so busy… probably next June-ish.”

One big question… will Peta being taking Maks' last name, going from Murgatroyd to Chmerkovskiy? Peta responded, “I think so.” Maks laughed, “Imagine if she kept both.” Peta reacted, "I think it's like twenty-three letters.”

Another big part of the wedding will be their first dance, which will surely have everyone eyeing the dance floor to see what these two pros have up their sleeve. Peta admitted it's the first thing everyone is asking about, and smiled, “I think I'm going to hold you like this and sway to side to side. We'll probably figure it out the night before.”

Maks was definitely down for a flash mob of some sort with all the dance pro guests who will be attending.

Before their first dance, they'll be back together on this Monday's episode of “Dancing with the Stars,” since he returns as a guest judge. He shared, “It's gonna be fun.” Though he said he doesn't plan to play favorites, Peta commented, “I hope he's more tough.” Peta will be dancing with Doug Flutie since it will be switch week.
