Jennifer Lopez Reflects on Relationship with Ben Affleck
Fans are still curious about Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck, even 10 years after the Bennifer phenomenon.
Now, J.Lo is speaking out about her ex in a new interview with People and Entertainment Weekly's editorial director Jess Cagle.
"We didn't try to have a public relationship," Lopez explained. "We just happened to be together at the birth of the tabloids, and it was like 'Oh, my God.' It was just a lot of pressure."
She admitted when she met Ben she felt like, “'Okay, this is it,' [but] sometimes I feel like what you think people are and how you see them when you love them is different than when they reveal later."
Lopez went on to say, "I think different time, different thing, who knows what could've happened, but there was a genuine love there.”
Ben and Jen called off their wedding in 2003 the day before the ceremony, blaming the media blitz surrounding the nuptials.
