John Goodman on Dramatic Weight Loss: ‘Wait Another Six Months'
While promoting his new film “10 Cloverfield Lane,” John Goodman sat down with “Today” to discuss his jaw-dropping weight loss.
On his slimmed-down appearance, John quipped to Savannah Guthrie, "Just wait another six months and I'll be back to normal. That's the way it usually goes.”
When Guthrie asked if he lost 100 lbs., he responded, "I have no idea how much I lost. I didn't weigh myself. Clothes fit nice and I can go to nice clothing stores and buy too much stuff.”
Many started taking notice of Goodman's weight loss at the London premiere of his film “Trumbo” in October, which was quite the contrast to how he looked at the 2014 premiere of “The Gambler."
Aside from his weight, Goodman also chatted about his scary look in “10 Cloverfield Lane." He joked, "I tuned down my natural creepiness a little bit for this movie. I can't get away with nothin'."
