Did Kanye West Just Launch Another Feud with Taylor Swift?
On Thursday, Kanye West sparked some controversy at his Yeezy Fashion Show, where he debuted tracks from his new album “The Life of Pablo.”
In one of the songs, he referenced Taylor Swift, saying, "I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/I made that b*tch famous.”
Once news broke about the surprising lyrics, reports started swirling that Taylor and Kanye were at odds with each other again. The two recently formed a friendship years after he infamously interrupted her acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
Later in the day, Taylor's brother Austin posted a video of himself throwing away Kanye's Yeezy sneakers, leading many to believe that he was unhappy about the song.
Kanye took to Twitter to shut down rumors that he is in another feud with Taylor. He tweeted, "I did not diss Taylor Swift and I've never dissed her…”
He explained, "First thing is I'm an artist and as an artist I will express how I feel with no censorship. 2nd thing I asked my wife for her blessings and she was cool with it.”
Most surprising of all, he claimed that Taylor gave her blessing to the song… and even came up with the idea.
