Cyrus had to skip the party because she was still in Australia, where she was spotted with ex-fiancé Liam Hemsworth over the holiday weekend. Though she couldn’t be at the celebration, there were no hard feelings. Perry told E! News that she was pleasantly surprised when Miley originally recorded “Hands of Love.”
"I was expecting a f**king hurricane,” Perry said, "but she came in all chill, ready to be of service, sang the song like three times and was like, ‘Linda, do you need anything else?’ She was so generous with her time. She was so sweet. I’m a huge fan now because of that.”
Cyrus and Hemsworth sparked rumors that they have rekindled their romance after they were snapped hanging out at the Falls Festival in Byron Bay. A source close to Cyrus recently shared about the possible reconciliation, "She feels like they could pick up right where they left off. Miley has never gotten over Liam and always hoped they would get back together. She doesn't know where it will go, but she definitely still loves him and wants to be with him. Liam has an interest in being back together, too."
Miley and Liam broke off their engagement in 2013.
