Rocker Scott Weiland's Cause of Death Revealed
Scott Weiland died of an overdose of drugs and alcohol, reports TMZ.
The Hennepin County Medical Examiner told the site that Weiland ODed on cocaine, MDA (ecstasy), and alcohol.
The results also showed that heart disease, asthma, and multi-substance dependence may have also played a role.
The 48-year-old, best known as the lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots, Velvet Revolver, and the Wildabouts, was found dead on his tour bus in Bloomington, Minnesota, on December 3.
Xanax, sleeping pills, bipolar meds, and Viagra were found at the scene, but have been ruled out as factors in his death.
