Exclusive: A Source Close to Gwen & Gavin's Nanny Speaks Out
The big headline blasted on the cover of US Weekly today claims Gavin Rossdale cheated on Gwen Stefani with their nanny.
The magazine reports Rossdale had a 3-year affair with the couple's longtime nanny, Mindy Mann.
Another nanny reportedly found explicit texts – including nude photos and hookup plans – between Rossdale and Mann on the family iPad and alerted Gwen. The iPad was linked to the Bush singer's phone.
A source close to Mann tells “Extra” that Mindy has been talking non-stop about Gavin for the last year, and that she skipped town after the story broke.
“Extra” has reached out to Stefani, Rossdale and Mann for comment.
Us Weekly says Gavin originally denied the affair, but when he later confessed, Gwen filed for divorce.
Stefani, who has since moved on with fellow “Voice” coach Blake Shelton, used anger over the split as inspiration for her new album.
The No Doubt singer told “Extra” she was especially emotional while shooting the video for her new single “Used to Love You.” "The first take, I just cried; the second take, I cried; and then the third take I cried; and then the fourth take. It was amazing because it was real."
