Did Blake & Gwen Really Write a Country Song Together?
The mystery over Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani's country song continues.
People broke the story last week, revealing that the couple wrote a mid-tempo breakup ballad just after “The Voice” started, but had yet to record it.
Gwen seemed to quash the story when she told Dallas station 103.7 KVIL that rumors of a country ballad were false and added, Blake is “not writing on my record.”
Blake, however, seemed to hint there could still be hope. Ahead of Tuesday's “The Voice” live show, he told reporters backstage, “I read about that, I read that we wrote a duet together. I tell you man, I read all kinds of amazing stuff lately.
When asked if the rumors were true, he played coy, smiling as he said, “I don't know. I don't know.”
Fans will just have to wait and see.
