Fallon Gets a Trump Bump in the Ratings
Showing that he does have a sense of humor about himself after all, presidential contender Donald Trump made his late-night comedy debut on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" Friday ... and where Trump went, ratings followed.
After Fallon, in full Trump costume, made merciless fun of The Donald's hair, lips, and mannerisms in an opening sketch, Trump joined him for a "Trump interviews Trump" segment, joking that he might consider Kanye West as his running mate.
Ratings were stellar, the show's highest in a year and a half.
Trump will next appear on "The Late Show with Stephen Colbert," on September 22.
