Nightlife impresario and entrepreneur Jesse Waits has joined Ālon Leisure Management, the new hospitality company with a focus on developing one-of-a-kind luxury resorts. Waits will work with Andrew Pascal, James Packer and Rob Oseland on the company's first project, Ālon Las Vegas.
Waits, who redefined nightlife for Wynn Las Vegas, tells “Extra," “After nearly 10 years, it was time for me to move on from my role as managing partner of XS and Tryst Nightclubs at Wynn Las Vegas. The always-evolving dynamic of Las Vegas continues to inspire me, and I look forward to my new venture at Ālon. We will create a compelling and exciting destination and bring something fresh and unique to The Strip. I'd like to thank Mr. Wynn for his mentorship and the opportunity to work with him and a great team to create two of the most successful nightlife venues anywhere.”
Andrew Pascal, Founder, CEO & Co-Chairman of Ālon Leisure and Ālon Las Vegas, added, “For many years we've had the pleasure of watching Jesse Waits play a central role in shaping the nightlife experience in Las Vegas. His standing in the industry, his uncompromising execution and his reputation as a progressive leader make him the perfect addition to our team."
Ālon Las Vegas is a gaming resort being developed on the historic Frontier site. As the flagship destination, Ālon Las Vegas will set the creative tone and operating tempo for the company's developments. In his new role, Waits will have leadership in developing entertainment experiences and social areas throughout Ālon Las Vegas.
