'True Detective’ Season 2: Character Cheat Sheet
HBO's hit show “True Detective” is back on the case for season two, premiering this Sunday, June 21 on HBO.
This time around, the series is set in 1970s California, and features an all-new cast, including Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch.
Colin Farrell plays Ray Velcoro, a cop torn between his corrupt bosses at work and the mob bosses running his life. Vince Vaughn is the main mobster in charge, and Rachel McAdams is caught in the middle, playing a no nonsense sheriff. Rounding out the all-star ensemble is Taylor Kitsch as a war veteran who is now a motorcycle cop.
“True Detective” season 2 premieres June 21, at 9 pm on HBO.
