Bob Saget Defends Olsen Twins' Decision Not to Participate in 'Fuller House'
Bob Saget joined “Extra's” Renée Bargh at the Los Angeles “Entourage” premiere, where he defended his onscreen daughters, Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen, and their decision not to take part in Netflix's “Fuller House.”
“The Olsens are sweet girls, they should do what they want to do with their lives,” said Saget. “Their fashion... they're amazing artists and they're just really, really talented, and people should do what they want to do.”
The Olsen twins received a lot of flak from “Full House” fans who are upset that the sisters passed on the project. Saget continued to pledge his support, saying, “I'm gonna be friends with them, I love them. I don't think show business or a project is what you have to do, even though the fans really want it. You have to live for yourself.”
Bob also said he isn't sure who should replace the character of Michelle Tanner in the upcoming series that will focus on D.J. and Stephanie Tanner and their childhood pal Kimmy Gibbler and their characters' kids.
One thing Saget does know is that his character, Danny Tanner, is confirmed to be a guest star in the Netflix series.
