Update: Kendall Jenner Denies Giving Quote About Her Dad
UPDATE: Kendall Jenner is publicly speaking out, denying that she spoke to Us Weekly about her father.
She tweeted, "how is it legal for someone to 'quote' someone and publish it if in fact you never said what was quoted."
Earlier, Us Weekly claimed that Kendall had spoken out for the first time about her father's reported plans to transition from a man to a woman.
She supposedly told Us Weekly, "I love my dad. He's always been there for me and my sisters. He's a wonderful man. And just because he's changing shoes now, so to speak, doesn't make him less wonderful. I will always love my dad, whether he's a man or a woman."
The Kardashian-Jenner household has seen a lot of change over the past year, between Kris and Bruce Jenner's split and reports that Bruce is transitioning.
In a new cover story, People magazine talks to a Kardashian family insider about the toll the changes have taken on the family.
When the former Olympian reportedly revealed his plans to become a woman, the source said "the whole family went through a rough patch. It's naturally a difficult thing to process and work through."
The insider explained that his ten children and stepchildren have dealt with Jenner's decision in different ways, saying, "The divorce caused a divide, but Bruce's decision to share his transition has caused an even greater divide."
Bruce's struggle is already starting to play out on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” In the first episode he claimed he was “in the middle” of the Kardashians and Jenners.
These days he's spending more time at his Malibu pad with his children from previous marriages, Burt, 36, Cassandra, 34, Brandon, 33, and Brody, 31.
The source said his stepdaughters, Kourtney, 35, Kim, 34, and Khloé, 30 sometimes don't hear from him for weeks at a time. Rob, 28, wasn't mentioned.
The insider did not discuss the state of his relationship with his youngest children, Kendall, 19, and Kylie, 17, but did say, "His kids all love him very much and would do anything for him."
Jenner will supposedly speak about his changing appearance for the first time in an interview with Diane Sawyer scheduled for May. Plans for an E! docu-series on the subject have been put on hold or possibly canceled.
