Singer Kelly Clarkson has just two words for those criticizing her weight: Don't care!
Clarkson has recently been out and about promoting her new album “Piece by Piece,” and after an appearance on the British talk show “Graham Norton,” TV personality Katie Hopkins launched a series of tweets, slamming Clarkson's weight.
In one of many tweets, Hopkins wrote, "What happened to Kelly Clarkson? Did she eat all of her backing singers? Happily I have wide-screen."
Clarkson was unaware of the fat-shaming tweets when she spoke with Heat magazine earlier this week, "I don't have a clue what you're talking about," Kelly told the mag. "Someone tweeted something nasty about me?"
When told what Hopkins wrote, Clarkson laughed, "That's because she doesn't know me. I'm awesome! It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will."
The mom of 1-year-old daughter River Rose added, "I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good. That's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family – I don't seek out any other acceptance."
