Will Bruce Jenner Move Forward with Transgender Series Following Fatal Crash?
Could Bruce Jenner's involvement in a fatal accident in Malibu on Saturday delay his new docu-series?
Sources at TMZ say Jenner is moving forward as planned, and the show – reportedly about his transition from man to woman – could be on the air by May.
Jenner released the following statement on Sunday: "My heartfelt and deepest sympathies go out to the family and loved ones, and to all of those who were involved or injured in this terrible accident. It is a devastating tragedy, and I cannot pretend to imagine what this family is going through at this time. I am praying for them. I will continue to cooperate in every way possible."
The four-car crash occurred on Pacific Coast Highway near Corral Canyon Road in Malibu.
According to the L.A. Times, Jenner rear-ended a white Lexus after the Lexus rear-ended another car, which had slowed down or stopped for reasons that are unclear.
On impact by Jenner's black Cadillac Escalade, which was hauling a trailer carrying an off-road vehicle, the Lexus was pushed into oncoming traffic and was hit by a Hummer. The female driver in the Lexus was killed.
Police are examining phone records to see if anyone was texting.
