Is This Proof That Ian Somerhalder Is Engaged to Nikki Reed?
Have Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed found endless love?
In Touch magazine reports that the couple is betrothed, and that the diamond band Nikki was spotted wearing on her right hand at the World Dog Awards is actually an engagement ring!
A source claims to have overheard the couple chatting with friends about the big news at the award show. The insider told the mag that the “Vampire Diaries” star proposed to the “Twilight” actress after just six months of dating.

“It happened over the holidays,” the insider said, adding, “Nikki said she wears the ring on her right hand because they want to keep it quiet now.”
The onlooker continued, “They mentioned a June [wedding] date. They're really excited.”
Nikki was previously married to “American Idol” contestant Paul McDonald. They finalized their divorce earlier this month. Ian dated his “Vampire Diaries” co-star Nina Dobrev for three years.
