‘SNL’ Recap: Cameron Diaz Raps Like a ‘Baller,’ Bruno Mars Gets Funky and More!
Making her third appearance as a host on “Saturday Night Live,” Cameron Diaz totally nailed it in a variety of sketches, from rapping in a Thanksgiving song” to poking fun at her role in the upcoming “Annie” reboot. Oh, and musical guest Bruno Mars pretty much rocked the house, as well.
Here are some highlights:
Diaz and the “SNL” gals rap the Thanksgiving-themed "Back Home Ballers," boasting about the perks of staying with mom and dad.
The “Annie” spoof has Diaz playing a sexed up Miss Hannigan, while Annie is actually a 43-year-old single mom, former WNBA player and a veteran.
Although the cold opening did not feature Diaz, it was still hilarious, spoofing the '70s Schoolhouse Rock short “I Am Just a Bill…”
Diaz also scored in "High School Theater Show," a sketch about precocious high school teens putting on a performance arts show.
Bruno Mars then brought the “Uptown Funk” with Mark Ronson… check it!
