Candy Spelling's Reaction to 'True Tori' Might Surprise You
“Extra’s” Mario Lopez caught up with Candy Spelling to talk about her new tell-all book, “Candy at Last,” daughter Tori Spelling’s docu-series “True Tori,” and more!
Candy revealed that she wanted to write a new book because “as I get older I lose a lot of my filters, and so we’re kind of really delving into the things that I wouldn’t have said ten years ago.”
Fans know that Candy and Tori haven’t always had the best relationship, but that seems to be in the past. Candy had nothing but love for her daughter when talking about “True Tori.”
“I watched a little bit of it,” she said. “It's really hard for a mother to watch, really. You don’t want to see your child go through any kind of pain. This is painful.”
She added, “Tori hasn’t asked my advice, and I've have learned you really shouldn't give children advice unless they want it. If she wants my opinion I am absolutely happy to give it to her.”
