Why Kim and Kanye Can't Get Married at the Palace of Versailles
Although they had their hearts set on marrying in the famed Palace of Versailles on Saturday, it looks like Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are going to have to settle for a private guided tour.
A spokesperson told Daily Mail that it simply “wasn't possible” for the celebrity couple to have their wedding at the historic French national monument, but that they could “enjoy a guided tour” with family and friends on Friday night “after all the tourists have gone home.”
The President of the Palace of Versailles said in a statement, “Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have decided to visit the Chateau of Versailles with their guests in a private surprise tour organized for Friday, May 23, on the eve of their marriage. In making this choice, they will contribute once more to a better understanding of Versailles, and will help to maintain the exceptional heritage of Versailles, which is classed as a world heritage site by Unesco.”
Now that some of the wedding venue confusion has been cleared up, Daily Mail reports the guests will fly to Paris for a rehearsal dinner on Friday, take a tour of Versailles, and then on Saturday, fly to Fort Belvedere in Florence, Italy for the actual wedding.

Guests at the wedding are believed to include the Kardashian family in their entirety, and Jay Z and Beyoncé.
Kim K and her fiancé arrived to Paris over the weekend with their 11-month-old daughter North.
