L'Wren Scott’s Suicide: New Clues Point to Why She Took Her Own Life
As the fashion world mourns the loss of L'Wren Scott, new questions are surfacing about her apparent suicide.
Was Mick Jagger's fashion designer girlfriend in trouble? The Daily Mail reports that L'Wren's business may have been as much as $6 million in debt.
Scott was forced to cancel her show at London Fashion Week last month. At the time, she said it was because her fabrics didn't arrive in time. Now, sources say finances are to blame, claiming she simply couldn't afford it.
An insider also told the paper that Scott was suffering from depression and had just recovered from an incident of self-harm.

It was noted that the 49-year-old didn't join Mick, 70, on the Australian leg of his Rolling Stones tour because she wasn't well enough to travel.
Much is being said of L'Wren's social media posts as well. Days before her death, she posted a quote by photographer Bill Cunningham on Instagram, “Fashion is the armour to survive the reality of life.”
Eerie posts continued to update on her accounts even after her death, apparently on timers. This picture of dresses hanging from trees was described as “beyond sad” by Facebook users. Her accounts have since been taken down.

L'Wren reportedly hung herself with a scarf in her luxury Manhattan apartment, where she was found by her assistant on Monday morning.
Mick, who had been dating the 6' 4" former model since 2001, posted a touching tribute to Scott on Facebook. "I am still struggling to understand how my lover and best friend could end her life in this tragic way.
We spent many wonderful years together and had made a great life for ourselves. She had great presence and her talent was much admired, not least by me."
He continued, "I have been touched by the tributes that people have paid to her, and also the personal messages of support that I have received. I will never forget her, Mick."
