David Beckham Eyes Miami as a New Home
“Extra” caught up with David Beckham in Miami on Wednesday as he announced his plans to bring a Major League Soccer team to the Sunshine State.
Becks explained why he decided to bring soccer to South Florida. “The city is a great city to live. It’s a great city to play sports, and to be honest I wanted to start a team from the ground up. We can do that here.”
With Beckham being so passionate about Miami, will he move the family there? He answered, “We’re going to be spending a lot of time here. Our children are educated in London, but I’m looking for a place in Miami. I’m excited about that.”
