Jennifer Nettles Got a Nice Surprise from Her Baby Son

Sugarland singer Jennifer Nettles looked stunning on the 2013 CMAs red carpet in a Naeem Khan gown, where she gushed about her son Magnus to “Extra’s” special correspondent Alecia Davis.

The new mom beamed, “He just took his first two steps today in the hotel room before I started getting ready. I was enticing him with yogurt bites. He took two Frankenstein steps and sat down, so exciting!”
 
Nettles and entrepreneur husband Justin Miller welcomed son Magnus in December 2012. Her solo album "That Girl" will be released in January.

Davis also caught up with Keith Urban, who said the upcoming "American Idol" is going to be great. Urban said he is having a really good time with fellow judge Harry Connick Jr.  “Harry brings it out in me, he’s got a very specific way of seeing the world and I love it." Keith also loves working with Jennifer Lopez. “She’s a good counter point to the whole thing…The vibe she brings is so what’s needed for that trio, I love it.”
