Report: Dr. Luke to Join 'American Idol' as Third Judge
Dr. Luke could be joining “American Idol” as a judge next season, reports Deadline Hollywood.
The producer-songwriter (real name Lukasz Gottwald) is supposedly in the process of closing a deal with the show and would join Keith Urban and rumored panelist Jennifer Lopez for Season 13.
Dr. Luke's biggest hits include many Katy Perry songs like “California Gurls” and “I Kissed a Girl.” He's also the man behind Kelly Clarkson's “Since U Been Gone” and Britney Spears' “Circus.”
In other “Idol” news, former judge Randy Jackson may be replacing Jimmy Iovine as in-house mentor.
