Cory Monteith Memorial: ‘Glee’ Family Says Final Goodbye
Lea Michele, Ryan Murphy and the “Glee” family gathered in L.A. on Thursday to say a final goodbye to Cory Monteith.
FOX released a statement following the service, explaining that the group gathered to “share memories and music in an emotional celebration of the life of Cory Monteith. We thank the public for their continued outpouring of love and support as we grieve our friend and colleague during this difficult time.”
Monteith, 31, was found dead in his Vancouver hotel room on July 13. An autopsy later revealed that he had died of a heroin overdose.
Cory's cousin, Richard Monteith told Life & Style that the star's ashes would be spread in the cities he loved, including L.A., Vancouver and Victoria.
