Paris Jackson Hospitalized After Reported Suicide Attempt

Paris Jackson was rushed to the hospital around 2 AM Wednesday morning after a possible suicide attempt, reports TMZ.

Sources tell "Extra" that someone called 911 at 1:37 AM to report a suicide attempt due to some type of overdose.

After the incident, Paris' grandmother Katherine Jackson's attorney, Perry Sanders, told us in a statement, "Being a sensitive 15-year-old is difficult no matter who you are. It is especially difficult when you lose the person closest to you. Paris is physically fine and is getting appropriate medical attention. Please respect her privacy and the family's privacy."

Jackson's mother Debbie Rowe's attorney also released a statement, saying, “We appreciate everyone's thoughts for Paris at this time and their respect for the family's privacy.”

Michael Jackson's daughter had tweeted a series of heavy lyrics just prior to the incident. One set was from Zee Avi's “Concrete Wall,” including “you say i need therapy, well, my darling, so do you. don't need for you to tell me what is wrong in all i say or do.”

The 15-year-old also quoted the Beatles' “Yesterday,” writing, “Yesterday, all my troubles seemed so far away now it looks as though they're here to stay.” Another message read, “I wonder why tears are salty.”
