Lil Wayne 'Alive and Well' After Suffering Seizure

Mixed reports surfaced Friday night regarding Lil Wayne's condition after suffering another seizure. At one point, TMZ claimed he was in a medical induced coma, at another, Wayne tweeted “I'm good everybody.”

On Saturday, his rep cleared up the confusion, telling People, “Lil' Wayne is doing well. Thanks for your concern.”

Friend and business partner Mack Maine also weighed in, tweeting, “Wayne is alive and well… We will be releasing an official statement shortly, but don't believe the nonsense about comas and tubes to breathe… that's false.”

The 30-year-old was taken to L.A.'s Cedars Sinai hospital twice this week after reportedly suffering multiple seizures.

Sources told TMZ that Wayne had seizures Tuesday after shooting a music video and was rushed to the hospital. He was released several hours later. The next day the musician was back at Cedars after suffering another seizure.

Several famous faces came to see Weezy during his stay, including Clippers player Chris Paul and protégé Drake.
