Mindy McCready Funeral and Memorial Plans Announced
Funeral and memorial plans are now taking shape for country star Mindy McCready, who committed suicide on Sunday.
The singer's family will remember her at a private funeral service on Feb. 26 at Crossroads Church in Fort Myers, FL, however, burial arrangements have not been finalized.
Friends and others from the music industry have organized a March 6 memorial for Mindy at the Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville. More details will follow.
McCready's death has been confirmed as a suicide from a single gunshot wound, according to preliminary autopsy results released by the Arkansas Crime Lab.
The 37-year-old country star was found dead on the front porch of her Heber Springs, Arkansas home, just a few weeks after her boyfriend, David Wilson, died in the same spot.
