Usher Takes Seat on Stand in Emotional Custody Battle
Singer Usher doesn't want to be called a bad dad.
The R&B singer testified in a custody hearing in an Atlanta court Tuesday and broke down in tears when his ex-wife's lawyer questioned him about his partying ways, accusing Usher of not caring enough about his children.
The lawyer for Usher's ex, Tameka Foster, showed photos of the singer partying in February and also asked about his alleged drug abuse. The “Scream” singer admitted to smoking pot in the past, but insisted he never used drugs in front of the kids.
Usher is requesting more time with his sons, Usher Jr., 4 and Naviyd, 3. The hearing will continue Wednesday.
