KISS and Motley Crue Hit the Road -- Again!
Legendary rock bands KISS and Motley Crue gathered Tuesday to announce their 40-date North American summer 2012 tour -- simply proclaimed "The Tour." The groups will crisscross the country starting in Bristow, Virginia on July 20th and ending in Hartford, Connecticut on September 23rd.
"These guys are the baddest bands in the f***ing world," Motley Crue's Vince Neil said on stage with both bands at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
The last time KISS and Motley Crue shared the stage was in 1982 for their "Creatures of the Night Tour," when the Crue was in its infancy and KISS was dealing with the departure of Ace Frehley and arrival of Vinnie Vincent.
"Seeing them on stage, it was obvious back then that this was the next big thing," KISS' Paul Stanley added. "This will be the definition of bang for your buck."
