Sharon Stone Embraces Aging: 'It's Hot to Be in Your 50s'
Decked out in skintight leather with slicked-back hair, Sharon Stone knows how to work a red carpet! The actress worked it at the AARP's Movies for Grownups Awards, and declared, "It's hot to be in your 50s."
Stone, who proudly said she was 53, received a Lifetime Achievement Award from Martin Scorsese at the event, where Sharon shared a few of her secrets for looking young. "I like to live a healthy life. I like to live a spiritual life, and I'm so lucky that I have wonderful kids. I'm just crazy about [the fact] that I get to do what I love for a living."
Stone addressed the dark moments in her life, including a divorce, miscarriage and brain surgery, saying, "It's a little like a country western song. It's not how you fall, it's about how you get up."
Academy Award Best Actress nominee Glenn Close also attended the event, and told "Extra," as far as physical appearances go, "I wouldn't mind if my breasts were bigger!"
