Chris Harrison Intervenes on 'The Bachelor'
"The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison does not want to make the same mistake he did on Ashley Hebert's season of "The Bachelorette."
Harrison told People.com he had warned Hebert about bachelor Bentley Williams, whose deceit about his intentions eventually led to heartbreak, but felt he could have done more.
"I felt like I didn't go far enough in talking to [Ashley] about Bentley," Harrison said. "Yeah, I warned her and I took some steps. But I don't think I went far enough."
A similar situation has now arisen between "Bachelor" Ben Flajnik and one of the women he is wooing - and Harrison is stepping up.
"There's something that happens with Ben in Panama, where I got to kind of, you know, rectify that situation and do the right thing," Harrison explained. "In that speech to him and the girl that's involved, I actually said, you know what, I made a mistake [last] season, so I'm not going to do it here."
So far there's no word on what the trouble, but a recent post on the show's Facebook page may contain a clue: "Soon it will be revealed that one bachelorette still has a boyfriend ... Who do you think it is?"
