Actor Ryan Gosling turned peacemaker over the weekend when he intervened and stopped two men from beating each other up on a NYC city street.

The footage taken by a passerby shows two men locked in a scuffle, one holding a painting while trying to avoid blows from the other. Several pedestrians attempt to stop the fight, but only Gosling gets the job done effectively.
