The 46th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards will feature celebrities and singers, and will feature a song by a charity called Academy of Country Music Lifting Lives - an organization that improves the lives of others through the power of music.
Musician Darius Rucker teams up with Lifting Lives for a once-in-a-lifetime musical event to benefit the Vanderbilt Kennedy Center, whose mission is to facilitate and positively affect the lives of persons with developmental disabilities. Twenty-five Lifting Lives music campers with developmental disabilities will join Rucker on stage to perform "Music from the Heart," written in collaboration with Brett James and Chris Young. The special moment will be performed live from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. Also joining the show as presenters are "Water for Elephants" stars Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon. The impressive lineup of performers includes Carrie Underwood, Zac Brown Band with James Taylor, Martina McBride, Miranda Lambert, Keith Urban and Taylor Swift.
