Melissa Gilbert and Husband Call It Quits
Actress Melissa Gilbert, 46, and Bruce Boxleitner, 60, have separated after 16 years of marriage. Gilbert released a statement to People: "We have loved each other for a very long time and we share four incredible sons together. On behalf of our family we ask to be allowed our privacy during this very difficult time."
Rocky from the start, the pair tied the knot in 1995 after Boxleitner twice called off the engagement.
The two have one biological child together, Michael Garrett Boxleitner, two sons, Sam and Lee, from Bruce's previous marriage, and Dakota Paul Brinkman, Melissa's son from ex-husband Bo Brinkman.
