'Extra' Video: LeAnn Rimes -- 'I'm Pretty Honest'
Country star LeAnn Rimes stopped to chat with Leeza Gibbons during Leeza's Dare 2 Care charity event at BOA Steakhouse on Thursday. Jamie Lee Curtis and Hill Harper were honored in the pre-Oscar cocktail party benefiting the Leeza Gibbons Memory Foundation.
Gibbons asked LeAnn about the special relationship the singer has with her fans, to which she responded, "I do have a different kind of relationship with my fans... I think you see through Twitter that I'm just... pretty honest." Rimes also spoke of her recent alarming incident with a paparazzo who almost knocked her down while she headed to a rehearsal.
Of her life in the spotlight, the bride-to-be said, "Every mistake is publicized and out there, and never goes away."
Rimes and fiancé Eddie Cibrian attended the event with LeAnn declaring that they are not getting hitched in Montana. "We've considered many places and many dates." Gibbons, also engaged, told the singer she has not yet set a date. LeAnn graciously offered to sing on Leeza's big day.
LeAnn later tweeted, "What a wonderful night! It was an honor to be a part of Dare 2 Care!"
