'Dr. Drew's Lifechangers' to Launch on CW!
Get ready for those life-changing answers you need when the new daily half-hour show "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers" premieres on The CW.
Warner Bros. and Telepictures Productions will produce, with both Pinsky and "Extra's" Senior Executive Producer Lisa Gregorisch-Dempsey serving as executive producers.
The show, which was developed on "Extra," will concentrate on people in conflict -- anything from relationship troubles to addiction. Pinsky -- who is board certified in internal and addiction medicine -- will also bring in expert panelists to discuss topics and offer solutions.
Pinsky is also set to launch a new show on HLN in the spring, which follows breaking news of the day, but Gregorisch-Dempsey said the "Lifechangers" show will be "a more daytime-focused show about personal transformation and real people stories. We feel Drew is the answer man and this is the answer show. It will be a search engine for your life."
"We are not doing exploitation TV, or over the top TV," added Hilary Estey McLoughlin, President of Telepictures Productions. "Drew truly wants to help people with this show."
Pinsky has already been making a difference on TV with his other hit shows on VH1, including "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew," "Sober House" and "Sex Rehab with Dr. Drew."
The CW will air two episodes of "Dr. Drew's Lifechangers" back-to-back, from 3:00 to 4:00, starting this fall!
