Getting the Inside Scoop on Fashion Trends
"Extra's" Lauren Sanchez met up at The Grove with Jane Buckingham, President of Trendera and one of the leading trend spotters, to talk about what to look for in the coming season.
"Something orange. It can be something small. It can be a handbag, a belt, could be a hat. Something that pops!" explained Buckingham.
How about leopard prints? "It's totally the accessory for fall, but moving towards the spring, you're going to see a lot of lace. We'll still see some animal prints but lace is going to be the big trend."
Speaking of spring, what kind of jeans are going to be in? Low bells. Buckingham said, "We coined a new term going from jeggings to low bells."
And finally, for your feet -- "Kitten heels. Pointy toes, kitten heels. Yes, so we're all going to be shorter."
