Jamie Foxx and Halle Berry Team Up for New Movie
"Extra's" Terri Seymour and AJ Calloway caught up with Jamie Foxx at BET's "106 and Parks" anniversary blowout, where he admitted he's got a lot on his plate, including a new album, TV deals -- and a movie with Halle Berry!
"I love Halle. We're working on a movie together at the beginning the year next year. Myself, Martin Lawrence and Halle [called 'The Skank Robbers']. It's a Sheneneh and Wanda movie, the characters we played in 'In Living Color.' We rob banks from Northern California to Southern California. It's gonna be hot."
Speaking of Halle, Foxx put her in his new song, "Yep, That's Me," on which he collaborated with Soulja Boy and Ludacris. Hear him sing a few bars to our own Terri!
Finally, Foxx also has several TV deals in the works with his production company. "With my new company, No Brainer with Deon Taylor, we sold five shows in four months. There's a show at NBC called 'Tommy's Little Girl,' a show at TNT called 'Miss Philly,' a sketch comedy show that's gonna be on FOX and 'Damage Control' over at HBO."
But there's one thing close to his heart at the moment; raising money for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation, for which his sister, DeOndra Dixon, is a spokesperson. Foxx said, "There was a huge summit in Denver last Saturday. They're doing a lot of great things for Down Syndrome kids and families."
