'DWTS' Sends the First Contestant Home
Just as "Dancing with the Stars" Season 11 begins, David Hasselhoff and his partner Kym Johnson have been sent packing.
Scoring in the bottom three, the Hoff and Kym danced the cha-cha. Judge Carrie Ann Inaba had the line of the night, joking that Hasselhoff's dancing was like "the offspring of Donny Osmond and Jerry Springer." Tonioli said, "We do love the Hoff, and we love the madness of it all, and all it was madness. There wasn't any dancing. ... It was like a potpourri of insanity disguised as dance." Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino and Margaret Cho rounded out the bottom three but were saved for one more round. Jennifer Grey and her partner Derek Hough were the early leaders with a score of 24 out of 30.
